To do this we conducted the analysis of international experience of innovation infrastructure development and of activity of its components and the features of their formation and development in some countries of the world and in Ukraine; we also did the monitoring of the innovation infrastructure objects in the region; made the catalogue "Databases of the reference-search subsystem "Innovative infrastructure of Kirovohrad region"; identified the main directions of development of innovative infrastructure of the region; developed the guidelines "Development and implementation of the complex of regional and local program activities for the development of small and medium enterprises" and the position of Regional Innovation Center.
