The purpose of research is development of scientific bases increase of technological level and competitiveness magnetodynamic installations (MDI) for aluminum alloys and processes to be implemented with their help, to ensure the prerequisites for integration created on the basis of MHD-equipment of high-tech systems and related technologies in the existing foundry and will created in future. The methods and apparatus of research is analytical assessments using the theory of engineering calculations and computer programs; physical and mathematical modeling; natural experiment. The basis of the research are experimental and theoretical studies of the mechanisms and effects of MHD, ensuring the efficiency of the MDI type MDN-6A with a W-shaped channel and the induction of the triple work area, the experience of long-term use of such equipment and related technologies in an industrial environment. The theory of electromagnetic and magnetodynamic devices, as MDI, was further developed , in particular, the proposed theoretically and directly on the liquid aluminum alloys confirmed experimentally the concept of a substantial (up to 2 times) increase of the electromagnetic pressure created in the liquid metal environments modernized two-zone MDI based on MDN-6. As results of hot test of a two-zone model of MDI was established its power, pressure and flow characteristics, some of their features and differences from those of the serial installation MDN-6A. Through the development and successful research increase electromagnetic pressure magnetodynamic devices created adequate conditions for enhanced functionality and a range of technological applications of such units, as well as to develop a new generation of MHD equipment and related metallurgical and foundry technologies, in particular for those responsible parts of high-tech equipment for casting technology under low pressure solenoid. In particular, the casting aluminum alloy was first made in the sand and clay molds in the production of castings for aviation applications casting technology under low pressure solenoid controlled with MDI.
