The object of study – the horses of Hutsul breed, blood. To investigate the seasonal dynamics of indicators of natural resistance of the Hutsul horse breed. Research methods – physiological and biochemical. To determine the parameters of nonspecific resistance of horses in different seasons of the year. The analysis of seasonal dynamics of bactericidal, lsike activity of blood serum, the index of completeness of phagocytosis indicates the minimum resistance of the Huzul horses to the action of pathogenic factors in the spring compared to other seasons. Results and their novelty: this study shows that the indicators of nonspecific resistance of the organism of horses of Hutsul breed differ depending on the localization of individuals in which blood sampling was held. So, animals kept in conditions of high mountains of the Carpathians (cold climate zone), the intensity of nonspecific resistance of the organism is lower as compared with animals, whose habitat is limited to the terms of the Precarpathians (Carpathian climatic zone) and low mountains (cool climate zone). In the highland representatives, a lower index of completeness of phagocytosis, bactericidal activity of blood serum, lsike activity of serum a-globulin. Also the highest, compared with the Hutsuls of the Carpathian and serednioho Armani y-globulins that may be a sign of compensatory mechanism of nonspecific protection of the organism. In terms of Precarpathians and Midlands of the investigated parameters of nonspecific resistance of the organism show a similar pattern, statistically significant differences relate only to lsike activity of the blood serum level higher for horses living in the Precarpathians. The animals of these groups is higher in comparison with horses from mountainous areas, the content of albumin fractions that best demonstrates their adaptive capacity and greater resilience to changing environmental conditions.
