Methodsw of temperature-programmed desorption, molecular beam, low-energy electron diffraction, Auger electron spectroscopy, contact potential difference, resistance/magnetoresistance and Hall voltage measurements as well as theoretical Monte Carlo and electron density functional theory were used. Based on the results of research defined physical findings practical recommendations for the development of scientific foundations of technical trends and technologies of catalytic reactions on metal surfaces, control surface structure and properties controlling, development of materials for nano- and spintronics devices were proposed.
