By means of selection at 37 0C on industrial maize wort the thermotolerant meyotic segregants were isolated from diploid, that was obtained by means of crossing of these mutants. Some of them have improved osmolotolerance compared to parental strains, but thermo- and ethanolotolerance are in the same level.
