The purpose of the work is to develop a scientific and methodical apparatus on the basis of theoretical and empirical research to create an automated system for accounting of communication means in units of the NGU. The materials contains the results of the theoretical and methodological analysis of the current state of the existing system for accounting of communication means in units and parts of NGU, The work includes a comparative analysis of existing accounting systems in the logistical processes of enterprises and organizations of different ownership forms, considered ways to improve efficiency of accounting of communication means By automation of accounting processes. As a result of the work, the directions for constructing an automated system for accounting and movement of communication means in parts of NGU have been determined. Main components which can be used to create such a system have been developed. Recommendations for creating the algorithm of functioning of the automatic accounting system have been developed The requirements for software for accounting of communication means have been determined.
