This difficulty requires simulation to test the basic ideas to be implemented in the radar. The effective and convenient algorithms development for modeling probe signal and radar signals from a group of targets on the background with noise and clutter simulation on the computer is realized in this work. Algorithms for digital processing of a radar signal (DSP) for detecting targets and finding their parameters (range and speed) in pulsed Doppler radars are proposed in this paper. The algorithms synthesis is based on the basic principles of radar construction, signaling and interference characteristics. The probing signal choice is considered and the analysis of the reflected LFM signal main characteristics is made. The white noise and clutter analysis statistical models is made and the clutter effect on the radar signal and on the frequency repetition pulses choice is considered. The methods analysis of optimal DSP of radar signal with noise and clutter is made. The matched filtering for radar signal compression using the window functions is considered. The methods analysis for the moving targets indication and the radar signal multichannel Doppler processing for clutter filtering and the parameters calculating was made. The radar detection methods for targets group detecting in a threshold detector are considered. The model simulation in the Matlab with the proposed algorithms allowed us to carry out a rapid evaluation of the pulsed Doppler radar efficiency. The obtained results can be used for existing systems modernization and at the initial stage for the new radar systems development.
