The aim of the study was to study the patterns of circulation of intestinal infections and enteral hepatitis in environmental and population settings in order to improve the existing system of epidemiological surveillance. Methods of investigation are epidemiological, bacteriological, serological, statistical. In 1994-2015 3959 samples of blood serums of Odessa patients with acute hepatitis were examined. In 2015, 3.2% of persons seropositive for HE were identified. The level of immunization of the population to the HE increased by 3 times. In 3.37% of seawater samples, the RV antigen is present. A strong correlation was established between the incidence of RVI in the Odessa region and the frequency of isolation of RV antigens from sea water (r = 0,75; p?0,05).
