The design of the centrifugal adsorber and the mathematical model of its work were developed; the theoretical and experimental studies that allowed to determine the rational parameters of the centrifuge device, and to develop recommendations for its design and operation as a part of compact treatment plants were conducted.The dual stage scheme of the consistent application of disk filters to remove coarse suspension, which reduces the amount of flushing water was designed and substantiated by means of the mathematical model.The design of the thin-layer element was improved. A mathematical model of water clarification in the thin-layer element, that takes into account the influence of technological and structural parameters of the thin-layer element on clarification effect (the flow rate, the angle of the element, the size of the particles); the removal of suspended solids from the work area; the distribution of the sediment on the deposition surface as well as structural conditions of supply and divert water in the thin-layer element was developed.For better performance of the water supply plants the technology of magnetic electrical activation of coagulant solution was developed.
