By simultaneous recording of changes in the basic heat transfer parameters while water boiling in time it was studied the possibility of an emergency cooling of a superheated heat transfer surface by nanofluid in case of boiling crisis. Tested two nanofluids are derived from natural mixture of aluminium silicates and titanium dioxide. Revealed that the introduction of a minor portion of nanofluids in boiling coolant (distilled water) that is in a state of film boiling (t heater > 500°C), allows to drastically reduce the temperature of the heat transfer surface to the level of 130-150°C, which corresponds to the transition to a safe bubble boiling regime with no reduction in heat flux. At the same time, paramount is the fact that this mode persists long enough at a specific heat load, which exceeds the value of the critical heat flux for water heater and t = 125-130°C. It allows you to immediately prevent an accident potencialnogo (heater burnout and damage of the heat exchanger) and to ensure the smooth operation of the equipment.
