Subject of research: genesis and evolution of the NAH concept in cooperation of archival theory and practice; conceptual apparatus; complex analysis and synthesis of key historical, cultural, scientific, legal, axiological and applied aspects of the NAH in socio-cultural space; typological structure of the NAH documents; theoretical, legal, organizational, scientific and methodological aspects of their organization at all structural levels of the NAH. Purpose of the research: to study the legal, organizational, scientific and applied principles of the NAH documents and to justify appropriate methods for archival processes and technologies on the outlined basis. Objectives of research: to identify and process the source base research; to characterize the state of the scientific development of the research subject; to justify its relevance and feasibility of its study; to determine the research methodology; to summarize the experience, proven methods and contemporary issues of the organization of the NAH documents in archival institutions of Ukraine; to conduct scientific and applied research and on their basis to justify the theoretical and methodological principles of scientific work with the set of the NAH documents. Research methodology: a set of general scientific principles, approaches, general and special scientific methods, basic principles and methods of archival studies and the humanities. Novelty of the research: Research was carried out in Ukraine for the first time, due to its results was prepared the handbook “The National Archival Holdings Documents Organization”. The scope: archival institutions that preserve documents of the NAH. Implementation efficiency: using the methodological handbook in practical work at archives of Ukraine will contribute to improvement and regulation of archival processes and technologies for the NAH documents organization at all structural levels.
