Purpose of the research: determining the optimal composition of documents produced at the village (town or city) councils of the united territorial community to develop the sample nomenclature of cases. Research methods: scientific analysis and synthesis, comparative analysis, analogy, simulation, synthesis. Scientific analysis and determination of the document flows at the village (town or city) council of the united territorial community held in connection with the adoption of the Law of Ukraine “On Voluntary Union of Communities” on February 5, 2015 No 157-VIII. Novelty of the research: for the first time, was developed the sample rural cases nomenclatures for the village (town) councils of the united territorial community for the purpose of efficient records management in local government. The scope: results are to be used in practice by councils of the united territorial communities for records management. Implementation efficiency: research results should promote the rational organization of records management, including the establishment of a single procedure for formation of cases, providing their accounting and operational search of documents in rural, town and city councils of the united territorial communities.
