It was shown that powders Gd2O3: Bi3+, Yb3+ have photo convert properties and luminescence in the range of 950...1100 nm under excitation in the range of 260...400 nm. 2) The presence of the optical excitation energy transfer from Bi3+ -ions to Yb3+ -ions was confirmed. The mechanism of sensitization of luminescence of Yb3+ -ions in oxide materials by co-doping with bismuth was proposed. 3) The methods of synthesis of micro- and nano powders and ceramics of mixed cobaltites-ferrites and cobaltites-chromites of REE were developed. 4) The peculiarities of cationic substitution influence on the structural parameters of the synthesized powders and ceramics of mixed cobaltites-ferrites and cobaltites-chromites of REE were determined. The phase diagrams of the cobaltites-ferrites and cobaltites-chromites systems were biuld. 5) The chemical composition and physical properties of known and synthesized materials with perovskite structure were analyzed and reasonable choice of chemical composition of these materials, promising for creation of gas sensors, was proved.
