All country in the world, which works in fields of prospecting, exploration and mining, collect and conserve geological information and samples (minerals, ores, lithological varieties of rocks, igneous and metamorphic rocks etc). The лун objectives were solved: 1) developed and implemented of new scientific and methodological approaches for creation of regional lithological libraries in Ukraine; 2) identifed key the Riphean, Vendian and Phanerozoic rocks complexes of Volyn-Podillya and Crimea for their study and collecting of geological information; 3) inventoried stratotype the Riphean, Vendian and Phanerozoic sections of Volyn-Podillya and Crimea and to create electronic database; 4) developed a concept of museum-lithological library at open space, which can be defined as "rational use of mineral resources and geological heritage preservation."
