For the first time opposite enantioselectivity of microsomal and cytosolic carboxyl esterase to the studied substrate was established. The search of new tyrosinase inhibitors was conducted. It was found, that the studied hydroxybenzyliden aminophenols possesses the inhibitory activity, 5- and 2-fold exceeding that of kojic acid - classical inhibitor of melanogenesis.
