The relationship between the producing method of the synthesized nanoscale materials, their electronic and spatial structure and functional characteristics (conductivity, photo-, redox and electrocatalytic activity, sensor sensitivity, energy consumption, etc.) was determined. The possibility to improve efficiency of carboxylation and sulfonylation of electrochemically activated geminal freons by using electrodes having heterogeneous catalytic properties (in particular, the modified carbon nanotubes) was shown.
