By the most mass kinds with the protracted period of activity there were representatives of groups of Obsoletus (subsort of Avaritia) and Pulicaris (subsort of Culicoides) in investigational terms, that from literary data are the basic vections of арбовирусних illnesses of с.-г. animals in the countries of Western Europe. The malanderss of sort of Culicoides were presented in collections in the second ten-day period of October. In obedience to the results of laboratory treatment of collections, on investigational territory educed 44 types of bloodsucking malanderss from the sort of Culicoides. Among them, 6 kinds (C. flavipulicaris, C. slovacus, C.brunnicans, C. tbilisicus, C. dzhafarovi, C. riouxi) are registered on territory of Ukraine first.
