Accordingly to the work schedule the science-researching equipment was removed from storage, the operation of all parts and of electrical circuits was examined. The operation of vacuum system was renewed. Activity for study of specified-technical documentation for pipe-lines of second circuit was undertaken; this documentation presents information on technical characteristics and conditions of pipe-line exploitation. Structure studies of the metal were carried out by the modern methods, inclusions were detected, their chemical composition and morphology were determined. By the method of magnetic memory of the metal on studied fragments of pipe-line the positions of anomalies were established; these positions coincides with the revealed defects of the metal structure. Fragments and billets of pipe-line metal of second circuit after long-term operation are obtained. Specimens for determining the physical-mechanical properties of the metal are produced from metal billets. Analysis of performed studies of pipe-line metal had shown that the cause of pipe-line damage after reconstruction is the corrosive processes, resulting during pipe-line operation. The high number of inclusions into the metal which chemically interacted with ions of chlorine was the cause of these processes. It was shown that results of magnetic memory of the metal correlate well with the metallographic results and described method of non-destructive control may be used to reveal the defects into the metal of pipe-lines.
