Research object is the novel A History of the World in 10 1/2 Chapters, (1989) by J. Barnes. The purpose of the third stage is to identify the specific contextual and the individual author's filling of literary archetype of home in the novel A History of the World in 10 1/2 Chapters by J. Barnes. Research methods are comparative and historical methods, elements of holistic analysis, mythopoetic correlations. We consider the transformation of the archetype of home in the English literature. In the literature of the second half of the 20th century, social convulsions result in the decrease of stable mythological archetype signs of home. The concept of home shifts towards a casual and temporary shelter (the "non-home") and then to the "anti-home", where a man finds himself face to face with death. In the light of the historical, social and existential experience of the century, the "anti-home" takes a form of a concentration camp, prison, jail in the broadest sense. The results of research work are published in 5 articles, 2 articles in leading scientific professional journals. The received results allow increasing the interpretation of the archetypes of home in the novel A History of the World in 10 1/2 Chapters by J. Barnes. Submissions may be used for the development of lectures on the history of the twentieth century world literature, as well as thematic special courses on English prose. Materials and conclusions complement research representation about creative works of J. Barnes and can be taken into account in preparing educational supplies on world literature of the second half of the 20th century. ARCHETYPE, ARCHETYPAL MOTIVE, ARCHETYPAL BINARITY, "NON-HOME", "ANTI-HOME", POSTMODERNISM, "MINUS-TECHNIQUE", IMAGE, ARK-HOUSE.
