The experiments were performed on magnetoplasma compressor (IPC). Spatio-temporal distribution of the electric current and the electron density was measured in compression for a variety of experimental conditions. In the accelerating channel of the IPC was also carried out a high-speed photography to analyze with high temporal resolution of the dynamics of the plasma flow at different initial pressures. The results showed a significant dependence of the plasma stream parameters and the localization of the compression zone of the initial concentration of the working gas. In all IPC modes plasma flows have good radial symmetry. The distributions of plasma parameters along the propagation of the plasma stream and carefully analyzed. This paper presents also a new power injector control system and diagnostic system parameters ZPPVI on torsatron Uragan-2M. Carried on the focusing of the beam of cesium ion experiments have shown the possibility of formation of an ion beam with a diameter of 8 mm to 10 mm in the plasma region torsatrons with beam currents of 50 mA to 350 mA when applying this system. Conducted the first assessment of the capacity and density of the plasma in the torsatron Uragan-2M. The results of this experimental work may be of interest to solve the problems of controlled thermonuclear fusion, plasma interaction with matter, plasma dynamics, the design and construction of plasma sources and improve their performance, as well as the development of new plasma technologies based on the combined discharges.
