The purpose of research is to carry out experimental studies and develop on their basis the compositions and technology for the production of polymeric nanocomposites of structural purpose with wide areas of use. Methods of investigation - infrared spectroscopy, optical and electron microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, differential scanning calorimetry, and standard methods for studying the mechanical and thermophysical properties of polymer composite materials. Modified basalt fibers. A composite material of structural purpose based on polypropylene, which is reinforced with modified basalt fibers, is obtained. The influence of modification of basaltic fibers of polyepychlorhydrinium rubber and silicone oligomers on physicomechanical and thermophysical properties of basalplastic was studied. It was found that the modification of polypropylene with benzoyl peroxide and a mixture of benzoyl peroxide and methylvinylcyclosiloxane leads to an increase in the physico-mechanical properties of composite materials based on cross-linked polypropylene reinforced with modified basalt fibers.
