The object of the researches is the ash content of the extracted coal at the "Russia" mine of SE "Selidovugol". The purpose of the work is to conduct surveys of coal quality indicators for the "Russia" mine and provide an opinion on the technically permissible level of operating ash content of coal to be produced in 2017. Methods of research - analytical review, technical analysis, statistically comparative evaluation of data. The main results obtained: an analysis of mining technology for the mine; an analysis of the geological and geological conditions of occurrence of the developed coal seam, its structure, and their influence on the qualitative indicators of the extracted coal is determined; the nomenclature of the excavating technique used and its characteristics are analyzed; the qualitative and quantitative indicators of the coal products being shipped and the uniformity of its indicators over time are analyzed; established operational and boundary ash content of coal in the treatment and preparatory faces. The results of the work can be used to justify the technically permissible level of the operating ash content of the coal produced in April-December 2017. The results of the work will contribute to improving the performance of the "Russia" mine of SE "Selidovugol".
