The aim of this work is the improvement of language training of personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine due to the introduction of distance learning technologies. Research methods - analysis of distance learning technologies, the synthesis of methods of teaching foreign languages and the assessment of the level of possession, using distance learning technologies, on the basis of existing approaches, gradient and statistical methods to create the approach to adaptive testing, forecasting to develop practical recommendations, survey of students of foreign language courses to assess the effectiveness of the distance course. The research materials can be used in the field of military education during the courses of foreign languages in military higher educational establishments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the testing personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
