Aim of work - to execute research of sources of metane relasse and work out recommendations on providing of gas safety at preparation of front of stopping and realization of the dead-locked making in a block № 2 mine "Western-Donbaska". Methods of researches are generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematical statistics, calculations on standard methodologies. As a result of implementation of work the analysis of primary information is conducted about mining-and-geological and mining technical descriptions of block № 2 mine "Western-Donbaska" PSS "TernivskoeMineGroup" Private Joint-stock Company "DTEK Pavlogradugol ". Worked out to "Recommendation on providing of gas safety of works during realization of the dead-locked preparatory making of east drainage drift № 2 at producing in the fresh stream of air of an outgoing vent stream from the dead-locked preparatory making of east main windway № 2 layers of с8н, and also on providing of gas safety of works on realization of the dead-locked preparatory making 1037 to the cut stove at producing in the fresh stream of air of outgoing vent streams from the dead-locked preparatory making of east drainage drift № 2 and east main windway № 2 layer с8н". Producing of an outgoing vent stream of air is concerted from the dead-locked preparatory making of east main windway № 2 layers of с8н in the fresh stream of air, and also producing of an outgoing vent stream of air from the dead-locked preparatory making of east drainage drift № 2 in the fresh stream of air acting on ventilation of the dead-locked preparatory making 1037 to the cut stove on condition of implementation of the worked out recommendations on providing of gas safety. Results of introduction of developments - application of the worked out recommendations allowed to promote gas safety at preparation of front of stopping and realization of the dead-locked making, that has a large socio-economic and ecological value.
