The purpose of the study is to develop the national regulations on the use of road mirrors on highways, roads and streets of settlements with taking into account the best world's practices. The method of research is theoretical. The results of work and their novelty: The analysis of the requirements of the current national regulations on the use of road spherical mirrors in order to increase traffic safety level in the places with limited visibility was conducted and the world's practice of their application was studied. According to the results of the analysis, a draft standard (introduced for the first time) on the use of road mirrors on public roads and in the streets and roads of settlements was developed. Implementation of the developed standard will increase traffic safety by ensuring visibility in blind zones. Scope of the study is operational maintenance of public roads and the development of traffic management schemes. Social and economic efficiency of the development is to reduce the accident rate and the losses of the national economy from road accidents. Impact of the study.
