The subject is the efficiency of provision of transport services of the enterprise in the current market conditions. The purpose of research is to develop methodical approaches and practical recommendations for systematization of scientific achievements in ensuring the efficiency of the transport sector and the provision of transport services. When implementation research uses methods such as systems analysis and synthesis (at systematization and generalization of theoretical and methodological bases for ensuring the efficiency of transport services), Comparative analysis and statistical data processing (in assessing the current state of the transport services market), economic-mathematical modeling (in developing methods for assessing the quality, competitiveness and efficiency of transport services). In this research investigated: - theoretical and legislative principles, approaches to the formation of a strategy for the development of the market of transport services; - factors of development and modern economic condition, prospects of development of transport and the market of transport services; - conditions for ensuring the efficient operation of transport enterprises in the market, improving the quality and competitiveness of transport services; - ways to improve the economic efficiency of transport enterprises. The scientific results of the work are: - generalization of theoretical bases of management and evaluation of the efficiency of enterprises in the market of providing transport services in the market conditions. - analysis of trends and definition of prospects for the development of transport services market. - substantiation of methodical approaches to the estimation of the value of the potential of competitiveness of transport enterprises; - development of methodological approaches to assessing the quality of the provision of transport and related services; - development of a method for assessing the effectiveness of implementation of measures to develop the competitiveness of transport enterprises in a market environment; - improved methodological support for the evaluation of the efficiency of transport services taking into account the impact of quality and competitiveness. The practical application of the materials of work is carried out in the educational and scientific work of the Department of Economics of the Training and Scientific Institute of Economics and Management of the National Aviation University and other higher educational institutions of Ukraine in the training of specialists in the specialties "Enterprise Economics", "Entrepreneurship in aviation". This will allow students and young scientists more thoroughly and comprehensively to master the methodological provisions for ensuring the efficiency of the development of enterprises in the market of transport services Materials of the research are supposed to be implemented into the practical activity of the subjects of the air transport sector of the Ukrainian economy in order to ensure their sustainable development and the efficiency of the provision of transport services.
