Phylogenetic relationships of viruses PRRS and hepatitis E isolates, circulating in different geographical regions of the world, were studied. A method of the PRRS virus detection by real time-PCR has been developed. Studies were carried out on 53 samples of feces from pigs with different health status from 3 farms in the Poltava region, 1 in the Donetsk region, 2 in the Dnipro region and 1 in the Kharkiv region for the presence of the genetic material of the causative agent of the PRRS. It has been established that these feces samples do not contain the genetic material of the PRRS virus, but they contain the genetic material of the causative agents of other infectious diseases of pigs that can contribute to the infection of animals with the hepatitis E.
