The parameters of the corrosion behavior of titanium synthesized by the powder metallurgy method were determined in a 20% aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid and 40% and 75% aqueous solutions of sulfuric acid. It has been established that the corrosion resistance of titanium VT1-0 obtained by the powder metallurgy method in highly concentrated aqueous solutions of hydrochloric and sulfuric acids is two orders of magnitude lower than that obtained by traditional technology and grows with decreasing porosity of the compact powder material, which in its turn It decreases for the use of titanium hydride powder against titanium powder and with an increase in the proportion of titanium hydride powder mixed with the titanium powder in the original powder mixture. The influence of technological factors of compacting of powder material on the corrosion resistance of titanium VT1-0 is established. It is shown that the corrosion resistance of titanium VT1-0 increases with the decrease in the size of the powder fractions in the initial mixture, with an increase in the pressing pressure and an increase in the sintering temperature. The increase in the number of technological operations does not improve the corrosion resistance of baked titanium in the corrosive environments of hydrochloric and sulfuric acids. It is shown that the decisive influence on the corrosion resistance of titanium, obtained by the powder metallurgy method, is carried by open pores that come out to the surface of the material. The principles, scheme and regimes of nitriding and oxidation providing for a 20% aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid and 40% aqueous solution of sulfuric acid titanium, obtained by powder metallurgy, reduce the corrosion rate by three orders of magnitude. It is shown that after nitriding and oxidation according to the proposed regimes, the corrosion resistance of titanium samples VT1-0 does not depend on the technology of their preparation and is 0.001 ... 0.002 g / (m2 h).
