It was established that the defining parameter of the high-strength carbon steels workability under conditions of a complex stress state during a cyclic loading is the ability of a material to relax of mechanical stress. It has been found that the highest endurance of such steels provides mixed structure of the lower bainite and martensite and also the heat treatment mode for obtaining this structure with low level of the local residual stresses. The effective increasing of the structural strength of the D16T aluminium alloy welded joints is achieved by welding in a solid state (friction stir welding). A new type of kinetic diagram of fatigue failure has been discovered, were linear Paris region not exists. This is connected with the specific structure of the metal after thermomechanical shear processing. It has been shown that the presence of water vapor causes the degradation of the YSZ-Ni cermet, in particular at high concentration of water vapor. The difference in the mechanism of various titanium MAX-phases oxidation in the range of temperatures 600 ... 1200 ° С is established. The ability for prediction of the robustness of Al-Mg and Al-Cu-Mg alloys welded joints by non-destructive method is shown based on correlation dependencies between the local specific conductivity and strength and fatigue crack growth resistance characteristics.
