The crystalline structure, patterns of sorption-desorption process of hydrogen in different methods of flooding and the crystalline structure of hydrides synthesized on their basis are determined. For electrodes of the composition of NdMgNi4-xCox it is established that their electrochemical discharge capacity reaches 250 mA*h/g, and the replacement of Ni with Co does not substantially affect its magnitude. On the example of ferromagnetic alloys based on Sm2Co17 alloy doped with titanium, zirconium or niobium, the influence of hydrogen processing on the process of sintering of magnetic materials and their porosity was investigated.
