The kinetics of dissolution of copper, zirconium, titanium, crystalline and fine-crystalline alloys of the Al-Zr and Al-Cu-Zr-Ni systems in an aluminum-based melt has been investigated. Interfacial interactions in the nickel silver - brass and melchior - brass systems have been studied. Corrosion studies of bimetallic billets with the elaborated alloy have been performed in control media (model sweat, model saliva) in comparison with the "Nordic Gold" Euro coin alloy.
