In determining the details of the social and economic development of Ukraine, the key factors of development in different historical periods were determined, the social and economic specifics of Ukrainian space were analyzed, historical factors of its structuring were determined, the role and place of Ukrainians in the social and economic development of different countries were determined. Europe As a result, the historical background of modern socio-economic transformations in Ukraine and the grounded conditions of European integration are revealed. The social mobilization of Ukrainians into the European intellectual space was studied; political, social and economic reactions of the EU member states and NATO to the "Ukrainian Crisis" in 2014, and the experience of museum-making, as well as the importance of preserving historical and archaeological sites, has been clarified; outlined the prospects of Ukraine in the Bologna process as a component of European educational integration. It is concluded that Ukraine has gone a long way in a civilized choice, which lasted more than one century. The events of the Soviet period of the history of our country played a significant role in shaping the modern European civilizational choice. Clearly, because of the aggressive, often punitive actions of the authorities, as a bright prism, the necessity of the European political vector was evident. In the context of this topic, the information sources covering the issues of development of contemporary domestic geopolitical concepts were analyzed, they reveal the peculiarities of the geopolitical place of Ukraine and its influence on the dynamics of modern world processes.
