The purpose of the work is the synthesis of new compounds with transitional and rare-earth elements with non-trivial magnetic, electrical and optical properties. To determine the influence of the conditions of synthesis, composition and crystalline structure of coordination and complex oxide compounds on the properties of the substances. Methods of investigation: X-ray diffraction of single crystals and powders, chemical, X-ray fluorescence and atomic absorption analysis, electron microscopy, measurements of luminescent and nonlinear-optical characteristics, conductivity and dielectric properties, EPR spectroscopy and magnetometry. The structure of a number of double lanthanide phosphates of an islet structure and solid solutions based on Eu (ІІІ) and Pr (ІІІ) is determined. It has been established that for solid solutions of dual potassium dipolar lanthanum phosphate Eu (III) doped with intense red luminescence with UV excitation, and in the case of potassium molybdate - praseodymium, intense emission occurs due to the transfer of energy from the molybdate group to the Pr (III) ion. New complexes of Cu (II) and Fe (II) with hydroxamate and trisolate ligands were obtained, their structure and electronic structure were established.
