The spectra of energy losses of primary electrons and spectra of ejected electrons of barium atoms were measured. The ELSEPA program was tested for theoretical calculations of integral and differential cross sections of the potential electron scattering by H, C, F, and Cl atoms. The obtained data will be involved in the data bank of atomic constants.
