The purpose of the work is to study the peculiarities of the development of soil processes, regimes; the direction of the transformation of soil properties and their evolution in the zone of the forest-steppe and the Steppe under the influence of climate change. Research methods - field key surveys, soil-geographic, laboratory-analytical, methods of synthesis, analysis, statistical. Results - changes in climatic indicators over the past decades have been analyzed and it has been shown that a typical feature of the climate is the increase in average daily temperatures and changes in precipitation distribution throughout the year. The criteria and indicators that undergo changes under the influence of climate change are determined.
