The peculiarities of distribution of the rare rheophilic сyprinid fish species have been revealed in the investigated region. Based on the assessment of the hydrochemical and hydrobiological regimes of the studied hydroecosystems, the possibility of reintroduction of the Rutilus frisii from the Dniester basin into the Dnipro basin is established. The joint approaches with the Belarusian side for the calculation of the ecological capacity of hydroecosystems for stocking of Rutilus frisii and barbel fry reared in aquacultural conditions from breeding stock, which were withdrawn from nature.
