The purpose of the research is to substantiate theoretical and methodological principles and to develop a scientific concept for the formation of organizational, economic and institutional mechanisms for increasing the competitiveness of national business in the conditions of activation of the European integration priorities of its development. Methods of research - general scientific methods, techniques (analysis, synthesis), economic and statistical methods (comparison, grouping), method of morphological analysis, econometric-mathematical method (modeling), incl. cluster models and Data Mining methods. The content and forms of manifestations of long-term trends and processes of structural and organizational changes in the field of international business are revealed. The components of the systems of private and state support of the entrepreneurial sector activity, including in EU countries. The theoretical and methodological principles of regulatory policy in the field of support of the domestic producer in the conditions of geospatial reorientation of its activity are substantiated. The relevant methodical tools for identifying the competitive positions of the national business in the context of export-oriented and import-dependent industries have been developed and used. The methodical recommendations for assessing the participation of national enterprises in international production networks and global value chain are substantiated. The results of the research work are implemented in the KNTEU educational process, as well as will be highlighted in the monograph and can be used by the authorities when preparing legislative acts on the regulation of foreign economic activity.
