The purpose of the work is to develop a strategy for the development of the Zolotnikovsky united territorial community of Terebovlya district of the Ternopil region. Methods of research - theoretical and historical generalization, grouping and comparison to justify the nature of the community as a system; system analysis, abstract and logical observation and causal link for identification of peculiarities and trends of community settlements development; statistical to determine the effectiveness of using community potential; expert, local marketing to assess the environment and identify strategic benchmarks for community development; causation, SWOT - analysis for the analysis of the community development environment, identifying its strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats; observation, formalization, analysis, synthesis to justify strategic directions, goals and objectives of the territorial community. The generalized scientific result of the work is the development of the Strategy for the Development of the Zolotnikov United Territorial Community of Terebovlya District of the Ternopil Oblast. The degree of implementation - developed Strategy for the development of the Zolotnikov united territorial community of Terebovlya district of the Ternopil region was approved at the nineteenth session of the VIIth convocation of the Zolotnikiv village council of the Terebovlyan district of Ternopil oblast, decision No. 870 dated October 05, 2017, and adopted for implementation. Proposed scientific and practical approaches can be used by local self-government bodies when developing strategies for the development of territorial communities.
