The research objective: to adapt the methodology for the complex calculation of the ramjet engine thermogasdynamics to the requirements of design works in the Yuzhnoye State Design Office based on the use of mathematical models developed in the ITM of NASU and SSAU and the corresponding calculation and methodological support. The method used: the methods of computational gasdynamics. The adjustment of the existing in the ITM of NASU and SSAU calculation and methodical support to carry out the promt complex calculations of the thermogasdynamic processes in the elements of the ramjet engines integrated with the body of the aircraft, in two-dimensional approximation by march methods is performed. Numerical simulation of ramjet engine flow is divided on three parts - ram intake flow calculation, combustion chamber flow calculation and nozzle with the exhaust jet flow calculation. The matters of the geometrical parameters selection of the combustion chamber and the near throat part of the exit nozzle are discussed in case the designers specify the flow parameters at the outlet of the ram intake. Kerosene used as fuel at the ramjet combustion chamber. Analysis of different models of kerosene ignition and combustion is performed. The results of a complex calculation of parameters near the lower part of the aircraft, including the nose cone, ram intake, combustion chamber, exit nozzle, exhaust jet are given. The developed calculation and methodical support orientate on using at the Yuzhnoye State Design Office at the preliminary stage of ramjet engine aircraft design.
