The purpose of the work is to improve the system of monitoring the thermal condition of spatially branched network of heating systems with the use of a complex of hardware and software tools for the formation of thermal imaging on the basis of unmanned aerial vehicles (quadcopters). The current state of scientific-technical and practical problems of remote monitoring of energy objects, in particular thermal networks, based on unmanned aerial vehicles, is analyzed. Structural schemes of construction of thermal networks in urban agglomerations are investigated. The analysis of diagnostic methods of the technical state of heating systems, on the basis of which the method of thermal aerial photography determined promising for use. Among its advantages are: efficiency, mobility, simultaneous survey of large areas, recording and analysis of the data. The ways of improving the system of monitoring the technical condition of the heat pipelines are proposed.
