The purpose of the agreement is to develop a project for the development of the system of city passenger traffic in the city of Dnipro with optimization of bus, tram and trolleybus routes and definition of passenger capacity, necessary number and intervals of vehicles on routes that will improve the organization and quality of transportation, as well as their technical and economic indicators and environmental safety. The research is based on the use of a tabular method for studying the population's demand for transportation, followed by the processing of information and the presentation of results in the form of interactive machine graphics. In the operation of the route network of passenger transportation of the city there are a number of problems among which: disproportionate development of the structure of the park of buses; insufficiency of conditions of use of different modes of movement; unreasonable use of the route taxi mode in conditions of reducing the use of other modes of movement; transportation planning is based on unreliable data on the volume of transport services. In order to eliminate these negative tendencies: "The Concept of Development of City Passenger Transport of the Common Use of the Dnipro River" was developed and presented; prepared materials and studied the demand of the population for transportation of passengers by public transport of the city of Dnipro; the results of the survey on the study of population demand for the transportation of passengers by public transport of the city of Dnipro were processed; the route network of city passenger transportations of the city of Dnipro with the definition of the main directions of transportations is analyzed; A new route network of passenger traffic was developed in the city of Dnipro, based on an existing network of electric transport routes; The project of development of the system of city passenger transportations of the city of Dnipro has been developed.
