The purpose of the work is to establish the relationship between vibrational spectra and the structure of aqueous solutions of lyotropic liquid crystals. Methods of research: Fourier spectroscopy of infrared absorption of light; spectroscopy of light scattering; nuclear magnetic resonance. Structural transformations occurring in aqueous solution of a lipotropic liquid crystal DSCG, or cromolin, were investigated by vibrational spectroscopy (infrared absorption and light scattering). The Fourier spectra of IR absorption of a 10% aqueous solution of cromolin in the temperature range from 20 to 42 ° C are recorded in heating and cooling processes, special attention is paid to the analysis of structural transformations near the point of the phase transition at a temperature of 5.5 ° С.
