Mineral composition, main rock-forming minerals as long as ore and accessory minerals were studied for all four petrographic associations that are represented in the area - Volcanic series of Antarctic Peninsula, Gabbroid complex of Wilhelm Archipelago, Granitoid complex of Antarctic Peninsula and dyke swarms of different age. According to the data obtained during geochemical modelling possibility of hydrothermal ore generation was predicted for the Volcanic series of Antarctic Peninsula. The perspectives of Ti-V and Cr ore mineralization for the Gabbroid complex of Wilhelm Archipelago layered intrusions were studied. Results obtained are recommended for further utilization during future geophysical, geochemical and ecological research in Western Antarctica.
