The results of the study summarize the theoretical foundations and practical approaches to the methods of conducting Forecast (including forensic) research, monitoring and information system support for scientific, technical and innovation activities; monitoring of the main results of scientific, scientific and technical, innovation activities and activities in the field of technology transfer; research was carried out on the implementation of the priority directions of scientific and technical and innovation activity. An analysis of foreign experience concerning: development of science, including Educational; investing in research and development; realization of scientific and technical and innovation priorities, patent and publication activity in Ukraine on the basis of world ratings; regulation of innovation sphere and its infrastructure, in particular scientific and technological parks, start-ups, information support system of scientific-technical and innovation activity. The scientific and methodical materials on monitoring the implementation of the priority areas of scientific and technical and innovation activities are improved. The electronic information resources (EIR) have been created and updated, web resources on the development of the innovation sphere, international and domestic news on scientific, technical and innovation activities are being up-to-date. The results of the research work are used by the Ministry of Education and Science in the development of normative-right documents in the scientific-technological and innovation sphere, for the formation of an effective state policy; preventing and detecting negative trends in this area and developing measures for its reform; the implementation of international activities on a specified topic.
