The effect of different parameters on CIR yield has been studied. The procedure for obtaining CIR which may be used as bitumen modifiers has been proposed. The resins were synthesized via ionic and radical copolymerization of unsaturated compounds presented in LFCT. It was established that CIR obtained via ionic copolymerization had not functional groups. In the case of radical copolymerization with addition of oxygen-containing functional monomers the resins with free carboxy or epoxy groups were synthesized.
