The purpose of research - to study and generalize of directions set and factors of the formation and functioning of the Common Fisheries Policy of the European Union and the ways of its implementation in Ukraine. Methods of research - the methodological basis of the study are the dialectical approach, methods and techniques of knowledge, analysis of economic phenomena and processes. Methods used in the work: abstract-logical (allowed to generalize theoretical principles of determining the directions of the Common Fisheries Policy functioning of the EU and Ukraine); economic and statistical (has made it possible to reveal the tendencies of functioning of the spheres of fisheries and aquaculture of Ukraine); comparative-historical (in recognition of the peculiarities of the development of the state system of management of domestic fisheries); expert assessments (obtaining forecast data on the development of world aquaculture and the prospects for the creation of a scientific and technological fishing-farm park); logical generalization (allowed to identify the contradictions in the process of forming the fish policy of Ukraine in the FTA with the EU); statistical (to determine the state and analysis of trends in the use of available resources - water objects, land under water, water resources, fish resources). In the process of the project implementation, the administrative-legal method of regulation has been improved - through the integration into national legislation of the relevant rules of different member states in the development of operational programs. This will allow, in contrast to the existing provisions, to more fully take into account and implement the norms of Regulation (EU) No 1380/2013 of 11.12.2013 in Ukraine.
