The research objective is the development of a method for determining of the stress-strain state of a honeycomb sandwich nose cone with optimization of a material's anisotropy properties depending of a load type and the development of a computational model for critical loads determining. Authors developed mathematical models and numerical algorithms for computation of shells that are loaded by an internal pressure, axisymmetric force, and bending moment. Approaches for a fiber's angle and a core's thickness optimization are developed. The developed approaches have been used for the computation of the honeycomb sandwich nose cone's shell by the state enterprise M.K. Yangel State Design Office "Yuzhnoye". Sectors of application: aerospace, engineering, transportation, building.
