The rate constants of these reactions are determined. The kinetics of separation of the H-atom from para-substituted benzyl alcohols by the N-oxyl radical of 1-hydroxybenzotriazole was studied. There is a good correlation between the rate of the reaction of H-atom separation and the "sigma"+ constants of the substituents in the Hammett equation, where "ro" has a negative sign and a significant value, which indicates a significant contribution to the activation energy of the polar factor. The kinetic studies of the course of the reaction of generating the cation radical ABTS+• in the system ABTS-K2S2O8 with an excess of potassium persulphate under the conditions of simultaneous formation and consumption of ABTS+•, i.e, in the nonstationary mode. The values of the rate constants for the formation and consumption of the cation of the ABTS+• radical are obtained, which opens the possibility for the formation of a valid kinetic model of the ABTS and K2S2O8 interaction process, which is planned in future studies. The antiradical activity and the content of phenolic compounds in ethanol extracts of a number of teas and plant extracts was determined. The values of effective concentrations EC50 of antioxidants were obtained.
