Object of research - oak tree stands in Ukrainian Polissya. The purpose of the study is to develop standards in the form of a dynamic site index scale and yield tables for modal oak stands, as well as tables of bioproductivity for live biomass components for oak forests of the Ukrainian Polissya, assessment of carbon sequestration and oxygen production. Methods of research - theoretical and methodological basis of the research is made up by works of leading national researchers in the field of forest mensuration and forest inventory. In the process of scientific research, the following methods of empirical research were used: description and comparison, methods of graphical analysis (during the characteristics of the current state of oak stands within administrative areas); comparative and statistical analyzes (in determining the average main mensurational indices), methods of mathematical modeling (when compiling yield tables and tables of bioproductivity). The value of the results obtained lies in elaboration of tables of bioproductivity by live biomass components for oak stands in the Ukrainian Polissya and calculation of the amount of sequestration of carbon and oxygen production.
