Subject of study is influence of different factors (geometrical, regime, space orientation, thermophysical properties of heat carriers etc.) on heat transfer in miniature heat transfer devices. The aim of the project is study of regime and geometrical factors influence on vapor generation processes in closed evaporative-condensation systems. Developing of effective thermal stabilization systems for powerful microelectronic devices based on such miniature systems. Method of study is experimental-theoretical. New approaches of intensification of vapor generation processes in miniature heat transfer devices (miniature heat pipes, pulsating heat pipes) are presented, physical processes of vapor generation in constrained conditions are discovered. Possibility of developing of cooling systems based on such heat pipes with high heat transfer ability and low thermal resistance is shown. Such systems can compete with most existing constructions. Results of investigation of regime and geometrical factors influence on heat transfer intensity in heating and condensation zones of evaporative-condensation systems are presented.
